HerCar Review
The Hyundai Trajet is a 7 seater people mover competing with models including the Kia Carnival & Toyota Tarago. While the 'stick shift' (stick located on steering column to change gears) feels a little antiquated, it means that there is plenty of room between the driver and front passenger seats so that you can move between the front and rear seats. Perfect when you need fast access to the back to sort out any arguments!
Driver visibility is great and although the Trajet is bigger than a small/medium passenger car, it's really easy to park. The engine noise is quiet, even when you put your foot down. The ride can be a little bouncy on bumpy roads, but this can be a plus if your trying to put a little one to sleep.
There's plenty of drink holders and storage compartments including door pockets, pockets on the rear of the driver and passenger seats, 2 glove boxes, a storage draw under front passenger seat and a sunglasses holder.
The seats are really flexible as the second and third row seats can all be folded or removed for greater storage capacity (which is needed in the boot). When you fold the middle and rear seats they make a handy table top complete with drink holders! The driver seat is fully adjustable, with a lumbar support and the steering wheel is also adjustable to get the optimum safe and comfortable driving position.
Overall, the Hyundai Trajet is a good package. It offers plenty of features for the price and is easy to drive with great visibility.
