Smoke from your car is NOT a good thing!

Whether you’re a smoker, non-smoker or a reformed smoker, can someone please explain why people smoke in their cars when they have passengers? Least of all children! Are we just getting on our high horse or is this a real issue that needs resolving??

I was horrified recently when I saw a woman smoking in her car with two children in the back.
Legislation throughout various Australian States deems it illegal to smoke with minors in the car. Found doing so, you can be fined on the spot. Personally, I can’t imagine why you would smoke with anyone in your car – kids, adults, politicians or pets!  On the other hand, should the Government be telling me what I can and can’t do in my own car?  Worse still, should they have to on this topic – its not like the dangers of smoking or passive smoking are a secret.
Do you smoke in your car? Maybe you sit, politely and quietly, in a smoke-filled car? Would you buy a car that smells of smoke?
Smokers, non-smokers, anyone tell us what you think!
