Touch Parking. A Touchy Topic!

I’ve recently returned from Paris, where touch parking is an every day part of life - acceptable, even. But then again, so is not picking up after your dog.  Few French cars escape a friendly nudge. However, just like chocolate croissants, the French have it down to a fine art – rarely is the car even damaged. Sadly, back home, it’s not such a sweet story. Actually, it’s much more like the owner not picking up after their dog.  I returned to my car the other week to find a big ding in the front. Someone hit me hard enough to bend the number plate and bend the front spoiler. I find it hard to believe the driver didn’t notice. Actually, if they didn’t notice, they probably shouldn’t be driving at all!

How do you bring yourself to drive away from that? Sure, it’s embarrassing, annoying, and an inconvenience – but, really…  Tip: Even the slightest bit of damage that you cause to another car matters. Cowardly vandals, that’s what you are. May your engine cease.

I know I’m not alone. Have you been the victim of a touch parker? Or maybe you’re a serial touch parker on the defense? Let us know what you think!
